Digital X-Ray

Regular static x-rays are an effective test for detecting fractures, dislocations and tumors. Patients heal faster when they get the right test, an accurate diagnosis and an effective treatment plan to get back to a pain-free life. Our in house service takes away the headache of having to go to another location and wait in line for another service to pay for to just have to bring it back to us. We like making your visit easiest for you and working towards the fastest recovery possible. X-Ray technology provides a degree of accuracy in diagnosis giving patients a pinpointed diagnosis to get them on the road to a pain free life.

Digital Radiography

Digital radiography uses x-ray sensitive plates to directly capture data during patient examinations. It immediately transfers images to a computer system without the use of an intermediate cassette. Advantages include time efficiency through bypassing chemical processing and the ability to digitally transfer and enhance images. Also, less radiation can be used to produce an image of similar contrast to conventional radiography.

Instead of X-ray film, digital radiography uses a digital image capture device. This gives advantages of immediate image preview and availability; elimination of costly film processing steps; a wider dynamic range, which makes it more forgiving for over- and under-exposure; as well as the ability to apply special image processing techniques that enhance overall display quality of the image.
